SELLING YOUR PRODUCT -If you decide you want to sell your product from your web site you are going to need some form of Shopping Cart service, or Buy Now buttons. There are hundreds available. I only like to recommend services that I have used. For several years I have been using the PayPal shopping cart system and so far it has functioned flawlessly. PayPal charges a 'per transaction' fee, instead of a monthly fee - and their rates are very reasonable. MY FEE for installing PayPal "Buy Now" buttons or their "Shopping Cart" is $3. per button.

MAINTENANCE - I  DO NOT charge a monthly fee for maintenance to your web site.  Web sites aren't changed every month so what would you be paying for?  Instead, I charge a "per transaction" fee. 

AFTER your web site is designed and published, and you want to make changes - my fees are as follows:

TEXT CHANGES - I usually do not charge for text changes unless they are major changes, then the fee is $60. an hour.  

PAGES - $10. to add a page to your web site.

IMAGES - $5. per image to add an image to any page on your web site.
$7. per image if you want me to scan a photo to use as an image on your web site.
I can also take digital photos of your art work.  These are $5. each. if you bring the work to me, $7. each if I come to you.

If your site has thumbnail pages (like below) then the cost to add an image to your site is $10. each.  This is because I actually have to add 2 images to your site, a thumbnail image that I create and link to the enlarged version on another page.

An example of a thumbnails page is below. Each thumbnail links to another "page" with an enlargement of the image, text details, Buy Now button, etc.  Thumbnails can be any size and do not have to have beveled edges like those shown below.

If you think you will be having quite a few monthly changes we can certainly work out a monthly fee that would best meet your needs.

$60. per hour to re-design an existing web site, or for custom designs.

My fees do not include hosting fees or domain registration fees. A hosting fee is a monthly fee charged for reserving a space on the Internet, think of it as a parking fee. Prices vary considerably but you can usually find a reputable host from $7. on up per month depending on the size of your site, and the traffic it generates.. A domain name, "www.yourname.com," can be registered for $8. - $20. per year. I can walk you through both of these procedures, or I can do them for a one time fee of $7.

I only like to recommend services that I use. I have been using GoDaddy.com and NameCheap.com for several years.  I find them reliable, competitive and with good customer service. If you would like to use them too please  let me know and I will be happy to setup your account for you.
